Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Uganda
Depending on when your flight will leave your home International Airport today, board your flight to Uganda to arrive Entebbe; You will be met by Ababa Uganda safaris representative waiting for your arrival at the Airport, who will then transfer you to your Hotel of Choice either in Entebbe town or Kampala capital city.
HOTEL OPTIONS Meals and overnight:

2. Boma Guest House or Similar (Medium option) Bed and Breakfast
3 & 4. Central Inn Entebbe or Similar (Budget Option) Breakfast

Day 2: Entebbe via Kampala City – Bwindi Impenetrable National park
• Notes: 1. (the accommodation here is optional depending on the availability of the permits)
• 2. Transfer to Bwindi is optional either by road or Schedule Air transport, please request for Air Rates from Us
(Approximated time is 9-10hrs. The accommodation here is optional depending on the availability of the permits in the areas where gorillas are tracked) After your breakfast at your place of stay, begin panoramic Safari drive south-words to Bwindi Gorilla Park, en-route stopovers will be made as there interesting things to see along the route, some of them include: the Mbabire drum making market, the Equator where you will stop for pictures and if you are interested in Souvenirs then its the best place to buy some thing, continue to Mbarara town/ city for your Lunch break which shall be served at Agip Motel. After drive to Bwindi National park arriving late in the evening to your hotel of choice, check in then dinner and overnight.
Optional traveling to Bwindi National Park is by Air at an extra Ticket cost with scheduled domestic flights from Entebbe either in the morning or in the afternoon. You therefor miss all the interesting places mentioned on today’s program when travel by flying, shorter but missing a lot ( Approximated flight Time: 2hrs)

Day 3: Bwindi Gorilla tracking
Morning Activity: Incase you need a wake up call for this day then you need to inform the hotel attendants before your go to sleep, However at 07:15am you shall be served with your breakfast, then be guided by your driver guide who will lead you for registration to verify the information on your passports before the briefing time, then proceed to the ground to get the briefed at 8.00am before entry to the forest for gorilla trekking adventure depending on which group of gorillas your permit is having.
Afternoon activity: In the afternoon if you are are still strong enough and depending on the weather, there will be guided village walk to learn how the communities around the Bwindi National Park are benefiting from the tourism of the area; this is an ideal short walk that will bring you back to your hotel of choice for dinner and overnight later.
optional Activities this day in the afternoon can include, a forest walk and water falls in Bwindi Forest, or Birding watching safari till sun set, or a bicycle riding to the villages to stretch yourself.

Day 4: Bwindi forest National Park – Kibale forest National park
Early departure after your breakfast in the morning at 7:00am from Bwindi gorilla National park to Kibale forest national park via Queen Elizabeth National Park, opportunity to see tree climbing lions and many more antelopes as the drive goes on. Lunch shall be later on arrival in Fort portal town and an afternoon Nature walk to the crater lakes Check in to your hotel for Dinner and overnight

Day 5: Kibale National Park
Early morning at 07:15am (if you are to stay in Fort portal town then breakfast is at 06:00am) you will have breakfast then leave to Kibale forest National Park headquarters for briefing before you enter in this beautiful forest for chimpanzee tracking including other primates like the L’hoestes, Colobus, Blues, Red-tailed monkey and grey cheeked Mangabey swinging through the dense forest and several bird species, butterflies and many small insects, can be seen before you return back for lunch. An opportunity to reach Biggodi for a swamp walk the area is run by the community as away to preserve and save animals in the Kibale forest, You shall then return for dinner and overnight

Day 6: Kibale National Park – via Kampala to Entebbe
After your breakfast at 08:00am, If you still have time in the day, a brief visit to the Tooro Kingdoms palace, built on top of the hill attracting views of the Rwenzori ranges and Fort portal town, proceed then to Kampala via Mubende with a lunch stop en route before arriving to Kampala if you are staying here or transfer to catch your flight back home.

SEASONALITY DATES AND RATES VALIDITY

Child policy Rate (3 –12 years)
Children below 2 years sharing with an adult are Enjoy safari free of charge. Children above the age of 12 years are considered as adults and pay full rates without a gorilla or Chimpanzee or Golden monkey permit. Children between 3 years and 12 years old sharing the safari with an adult will be charged 50% of the full adult rate. N.B. Children rates are only applicable when sharing with two adults on a safari. In case of one adult sharing with a child/ children, the single safari rate plus the children's rate is applicable.
Also Note that Children below 16years do not go for Either Chimpanzee or Gorilla Tracking, they shall only go for children's activities.

Gorilla Permits
2. All gorilla permits need to be purchased at the time of booking or a deposit equivalent to 50% of the cost of the safari paid, whichever is higher. Gorilla viewing is subject to availability of permits, which are limited; any additional gorilla permits required should be purchased when booking. Gorilla permit prices are subject to change without warning.
3. Prices for gorilla safaris are based on clients staying together. Separate quotes are available, on request, for clients wishing to stay at other properties.

4. We may customize any of our itineraries to suit you. You are at liberty to reduce or add a number of nights, change a hotel (upgrade/downgrade), change a given routing etc.
