Start your adventure in Georgetown, the capital town of the country where you will discover its diverse people and culture, Also you could choose to indulge in our unique and vast range of cuisine, after Georgetown talk a short flight to one of the world largest single drop waterfall the majestic kaieteur where you could enjoy the birdlife and sceneries, from the waterfall you will continue the flight and land in Fairview Village where it home to a small group of indigenous Makushi people living in the conservation area, Iwokrama River Lodge and Research Centre Is located within one million acres of protected and intact tropical rain forest which was donated to the international community in 1989 by the Government of Guyana to demonstrate its commitment to combating climate change but A trip to Iwokrama is not complete without hike to the top of Turtle Mountain. Take a 30-40 minute boat journey downriver and then hike the 2 mile trail up to 300 meter (950ft) summit for a stunning jungle vista punctuated by the powerful Essequibo River snaking through the forest.
After a two and half hours drive depending on the road conditions we could stop in at Atta lodge for a short tour on the one and only canopy walk way in Guyana good for birding and other wildlife.
Next up the small but beautiful Amerindian community of Makushi people living in the north Rupununi region of the Guyana, the word Surama is originally “Suramata” Meaning “Place of spoiled Bar-B-Que”, they still observe many of the traditional practices of their forebears. This isolated and idyllic location offers an escape from the concrete jungle to a serene and peaceful existence with nature. Dawn hikes, led by the Surama guides across the savannah and up Surama Mountain, reveal a multitude of birds and fantastic vistas. The guides have lived their entire lives in the rainforest, and have an incredible understanding of the nature and how to utilize its resources respectfully.
Now last but not less your choice after Surama you could leave and talk a full vehicle drive to caiman house or talk a short drive to Ginip landing which is on the Rupununi River and from their a boat ride to Yupukari village where the caiman house lodge manager will be waiting an ready to meet and greet you, then you go out on the boats at night to do some caiman catching with the research team and you could part talk or just watch on as they do the processing and on the way back you could be on the lookout for other night life animals also they are known for sighting for the giant anteaters, once finished with your tours there you will talk a two hours vehicle driver to Lethem which sets on the broader of Guyana and Brazil which you will talk a one hour and fifteen minutes flight back to Georgetown where you will be book in to you hotel.
